Valli 2015 Bendigo Pinot Noir

Winemaker notes: Brilliant purple/garnet hue with aromas of crushed raspberry, boysenberry, mulberry, and vanilla.   Richly concentration on the palate with creamy, fine tannin that build in the mouth.  Lifted fresh berry flavors and juicy acidity give the wine vibrancy that marries beautifully with its prominent frame.

Grant Taylor the winemaker aims to be invisible. A tall order one could say, given his big personality, bags of enthusiasm and pioneering pinot work in Otago. What he seeks is not to be noticed in a winemaking sense, letting each individual site that makes up the Valli Pinot Noir quartet, speak with clarity and uniqueness.
