Milton 2016 Pinot Noir
Winery : Milton Vineyard
GOLD MEDAL Cowra Wine Show 2017
Bright red fruits beam from the glass on approach. The palate shows balanced acidity combining perfectly with the complex palate of red cherry and strawberries and a clean long savory finish. Delicious!
Milton 2016 Pinot Noir was produced from grapes grown on Milton's homestead block, planted in 1998, and from the earlier (1992) planted vines grown on the stoney red soils of the Cranbrook block. Vibrant and very aromatic pinot with ripe red cherry fruits and ultra fine tannins to finish.
The Milton property was first farmed in 1826 for wool. In 2005 the current custodians Kerry and Michael Dunbabin began producing wines under their own label.
