The 2016 Reserve is no exception.   Matured in 33% New French oak, it is well integrated.  The nose exhibits, the natural and surrounding Australian Flora and Fauna of the vineyards.  Beautifully perfumed, and fashioning earthier notes of smoke, spice and intense dark ripe fruits.    The palate similarly reflects the fruit.  Ripe cherries and strawberries balance the more savoury meaty flavours.  This wine is anything but humdrum.  A truly intense and complex wine, with lasting finish and great cellaring potential.
